The 10th ICFP Programming Contest: News

July 20 - 23, 2007

October 24, 2007: A video of the presentation of the ICFP contest 2007 is now online. It takes 1hr and 14 minutes, so you have to be prepared to download for while, if you want to watch it. The presentation consists of 3 parts:

October 10, 2007: Our report about the contest is now on-line.

October 2, 2007: The results of the ICFP Programming Contest 2007 have been announced at the ICFP in Freiburg. Just as last year, Team Smartass from Google research has won the first prize. The United Coding Team from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, won the second prize, and Celestial Dire Badger (Jed Davis) won the judges' prize. Congratulations!

July 23, 2007: The contest has ended! Thank you all so much for participating.

July 19, 2007: Updated the website, created a Task section on the index, and news and faq now appear on separate pages.

June 29, 2007: Registration is open now.

We have added a lightning division to the contest. The third prize has been removed to make place for a lightning division prize.

The chairman of the organization committee, Johan Jeuring, keeps a blog with observations about the organization of the contest, and probably some other observations as well.
